"Protecting cultural heritage publicity week" sponsored by TAR Library Societies, was held to call for protecting and promoting the Tibetan cultural heritage in Beijing Road.

6 volumes famous ancient books on the first national precious ancient books list with more than 1,800 books were on show in this activity. Besides, the organizers were active in introducing books and knowledge about protecting cultural heritage, making library cards and setting up consultation stations for the public.
