By now, the local government has collected and listed more than 20 intangible cultural relics amid which Gyibozholgar (an ancient dance popular in Tibet), wood-lock-producing craftsmanship of Paggai Township, Tibetan-style falchion of Yi'ong Township and story-telling have ranked the list of intangible cultural legacies of Tibet.
In past five years, nearly 800,000 yuan has been allocated in the construction of cultural infrastructures, the purchase of cultural equipments, the salvage and collection of intangible cultural relics in Bome County in order to inherit and develop the traditional culture and custom. At the same time, cultivating artists has been paid equal emphasis on through various celebrations of traditional festivals, such as "Bome Folk-Custom Culture & Art Festival" and "Sumzom Equitation Festival", etc. Besides, the government has published related books, photo albums and special TV plays.
